Font - COORDASH r/doordash_drivers. Posted by u/Motor-Corner4861 1 day ago I Turned A Scamming In To Both Customer DoorDash & Their Boss TT SCAM! Yesterday, I had an order for a burger restaurant to be delivered to the customer's job. I have delivered to this person once before (they have a name that is not common).

Font - Order was "Leave At Door" but I went in because it is a business and they are typically busy. The customer saw me and since he was with his own customer, asked me to hand it to his co-worker to put in the back. I did. Everything was all good & they said bye to me. About an hour later or less, he gave me an additional $5 tip through the app & I received notification of it.

Font - So this morning I log on and see that this customer filed a complaint that he had never received his food! I got a contract violation. I disputed it through the app and then I called DoorDash. They could see I delivered it and was early, and they could also see that he gave me an additional tip after delivery. So they removed the contract violation right then and there.

Font - But that wasn't enough for me. F that guy. I called up corporate (yes, call me Karen) and I complained to a supervisor that one of their employees at such-and-such location by the name of [redacted] ordered DoorDash while on the clock and gave me an extra tip and then later complained to DD that he never received his food. I explained how I got a contract violation and could be fired for that, and that this is my only job, so it would be an extreme hardship to be fired. I also told them t

Font - Yeah, it took 13 minutes of my time to file a complaint with a supervisor in his corporate office, but I hope he gets a bullocking. I him. He shouldn't be a dishonest p and put people's money in danger because he wants a free lunch.

Font - Intelligent-Meet8183 10 hr. ago It's unlikely anyone will lose their job on the honor of a DoorDasher.

Font - droplivefred +3. 22 hr. ago It's very confusing that they tipped you $5 extra and then reported not receiving their food. Glad that the rep understood the inconsistency and removed the CV. Why would they tip extra for food not arriving? Very suspicious!

Font - Motor-Corner4861 OP +1 - 22 hr. ago Had he not done that I might've been screwed! I hadn't taken a picture since I walked into the store to hand it to the customer. from now on I'm taking a picture with my GPS enabled camera app even if it's a hand it to me order.

Font - TheAffiliateOrder 22 hr. ago They probably knew that the Dasher would get in trouble/maybe lose their job... At this point, there are so many articles, TikToks and viral videos of Dashers/Delivery workers either getting canned because of these kinds of people that most people already are aware that it's a messed up thing to do. Some people lack direct empathy (not even talking about Narcs, Socio/Psychopaths, etc.).

Font - They don't care about a random person, likely barely even register you as a human or internally degrade you, to justify their behavior. I've had people call me a " for even DOING food delivery. There's a lot of people who legit just thing we're all disposable "no- goods" and will justify whatever reasoning they need to sleep at night.

Font - In your case, you did excellent!! Hit him right in the pocket! Even if he doesn't get fired, not only will he likely be soft banned from getting food delivered on the clock, but office gossip is a b ...

Font - There's DEFNITELY going to be coworkers/bosses who are gonna talk about what he did, give him funny looks, etc. Wouldn't be surprised if the person quit, cuz trying to scam a free meal at your job is kind of a bummy thing to do... It would show the employer that they don't respect their business and likely have poor money management.

Font - 18-55 Ken He_Do_It. 22 hr. ago You lucky duck! They usually have to "look into it" and never actually do. Or do and say they can't make changes.... YES you can. Just because they are lazy AF and don't care. Actually that's not true most don't care but you get the occasional one who won't BS and basically tells you that their Co workers are trash. Small victories eh.

Font - seashe11y 22 hr. ago +2. I like how you turned it on "reflecting poorly on his business". That's what motivates change. Every company has a set of ethics for employees to follow and he's not representing them well. You sir, win the internet today! Rolling out the red carpet for you to dash on!
